Free Divorce Workshop

The Law Office of Tim Whitten will host its Divorce Workshop on August 26, 2010, September 16, 2010 and October 21, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The workshop will take place at Chinatown located at 3407 Greystone Drive, Austin, Texas 78731. The workshop is designed to provide information about the three most common areas in which clients have questions: the legal aspect of divorce, the financial component, and developing a plan for your child(ren).

The workshop was created to assist women and men considering filing for divorce that do not know the law or their rights as a parent or spouse.

An attorney will speak about the rights and duties of a parent, what the divorce process entails, and the different models of divorce.

A financial professional will speak about the financial aspect of a divorce and tips on how to divide your assets and debts.

A mental-health professional will speak about the affect the divorce process can have on the children and what parents can do to assist your children through it.
