Kim Briggs

When you either call our office or come in, one of the first people you will encounter is Kim, who will greet you with a smile unless her new shoes are hurting her feet! Other than being a paralegal for over 20 years primarily in the family law field, Kim is a shopaholic and her motto is "If the shoe fits, buy one in every color." Cheerful and chatty are two ways to describe Kim (but don't forget to comment on her shoes).

Kim spent the first 33 years of her life in a small town in California. She began her career working at a local law office when she was 16 and hasn't stopped since. Kim and her family decided to relocate and become Texans in 2002 and have made their home in Round Rock. Kim became Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2009. She is one of only 29 Family Law Board Certified paralegals in Travis County. Kim is also a member of the Paralegal Division of the Texas State Bar and a member of Austin LSA. Kim joined the practice of the Law Office of Tim Whitten in May of 2008.

Kim is the mother of three beautiful and incredibly intelligent children, Robb, Tommy and Jasmine. When not working or shoe shopping, you will find her either at the baseball fields, football fields, Round Rock Dragon Band events or dance recitals (and soon to be at most UT events, as her oldest son will be attending UT Austin in the Fall of 2010). You cannot miss her, as she is the loudest cheerleader out there for her amazing kids.
