At the Law Office of Tim Whitten, our goal is to help folks resolve their family law issues in a way that protects their interests and preserves their family relationships. Most family law cases can be difficult both from an emotional and financial perspective. We believe in reducing the emotional and financial stress associated with family law matters by offering our clients alternative options to resolve their disputes, such as collaborative law, mediation and limited scope representation. We enjoy helping people who are interested in working together to find creative solutions to their family law problems.

We are located in Austin, Texas, and we serve a large geographic area in Central Texas, including Travis, Williamson, Caldwell, Bastrop, Burnet, Llano and Hays County.

We provide a variety of services to clients of all backgrounds. We have three lawyers who charge different hourly rates and this allows us to accommodate people with differing needs.  We also offer both full scope and limited scope representation, so that our clients can choose the way they want to allocate their resources.  We are also open to exploring alternative fee arrangements, in appropriate cases.

Too often, clients in family law cases spend substantial sums of money arguing about issues in court and do not feel any better at the end of their case than before they started.  At the Law Office of Tim Whitten, we are sensitive to this reality.  This is why we explore alternatives to the traditional litigation approach with each client as we help him or her identify long-term legal interests and goals. After our representation begins, we strive to be available and responsive to each client, to ensure that we stay on track with that client’s interests and goals.
